Method of Clipping Nails
Question: What sequence should a person follow when clipping the nails?
Answer: There is no clear sequence reported from the Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam on clipping the nails.
The Fuqaha(Jurist) suggest the following sequence:
Start by clipping the nail of the index finger of the right hand and move towards the little finger.
Thereafter, start with clipping the nail of little finger of the left hand and move towards the thumb.
After that, clip the thumb nail of the right hand.
As for the toes nails, start from small right toe and end with the small left toe.

Method Of Issuing Talaaq
Daily Fiqh
Question: If a marriage has reached breaking point; what is the best way to affect Talaaq(divorce)?
Answer: After all the avenues of reconciliation have been exhausted and the couple still wish to separate, it would be advisable for the husband to issue one Talaaq Rajee (revocable divorce) in a purity in which no intercourse took place.
The duration of Iddah (waiting period) is three Haidh (menses).
By the passing of three Haidh, the Nikaah will automatically be terminated and she will be free to marry someone else.
If before the three menses periods elapses, the couple decide to reconcile; the husband may revoke the divorce and take his wife back.
If the couple wish to re-marry after the iddah period, a new nikaah needs to be made.

Question: What is the maximum period; one can make masah (pass a wet hand) on Kuffain (leather socks)?
Answer: A traveller is allowed to make masah on leather socks for a maximum period of three days and three nights (72 hours). As for a non-traveller; the maximum period is one day and one night (24 hours).
This period of one day and night (24hours) or three days and three nights (72hours) will be calculated from the time the wudhu breaks and not from the time when the leather socks were worn.
