Question: What is Salaatut Taubah and when should it be read?

Answer: If a person does something contary to the Shariah, he should offer two Rakaats of Nafl Salaah and thereafter repent to Allah Ta'ala with full devotion and humility. He should express his regret for committing a sin. He should ask forgiveness from Allah Ta’ala and make a firm intention that he will not commit that sin again in the future. Through the virtue and bounty of Allah Ta’ala, that sin will be forgiven. (Bahisti Zewar 258)

Question: Is it permissible to eat piping hot food?

Answer: Sayyidina Suhayb RA relates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam instructed that steaming food should only be consumed once it has reached a suitable temperature. - Kanz Vol 19 Page 188

Ummul Mu'minin, Sayyidah Juwairiyah RA. narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam disliked food that was still steaming. He only ate it after all traces of steam vanished. Jam'ul Fawa'id Vol 5 Page 7

Question: Is Umrah compulsory and when should it be performed?

Answer: According to Imam Abu Hanifa RA. And Imam Maalik RA. Umrah is Sunnah, whereas it is wajib according to Imam Shafi'ee RA. and Imam Ahmed RA.

Apart from five days (when it is makrooh - from the 9th to 13th of Dhul-Hijjah) Umrah may be performed at any time during the year. (Fadhaa’il-e- Hajj Page 125)

Question: Is it permissible to pluck white strands of hair?

Answer: No it is not permissible to pluck white strands of hair, whether from the head or the beard.

Sayyidina Abdullah Ibn Umar R.A. narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Do not pluck white hair, as it is a nur (celestial light) for a believer." Aadaab Lil Bayhaqi, Page 386
