Female Turban Scarf
DAILY FIQH
Question: A new fashion that has emerged is that some Muslim females are wearing a new turban style scarf, is this permissible?
Answer: It is mandatory for a lady to cover her face when she leaves her house or is in presence of strange men. The female turban leaves the neck and face exposed, hence it is not permissible.
Allah Ta’aala says in the Qur’aan:
“O Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), command your wives, daughters and the believing women to don the niqaab(veil)”.

Prohibited Times of Salaah
DAILY FIQH
Question: At which times is Salaah prohibited?
Answer: It is unlawful to perform any Salaah (including Janazah Salah, Sajdah Tilawah and Qadha Salaah) at three times:
1) At the time of sunrise until the sun has fully risen;
2) When the sun is at its peak or its highest point in the sky;
3) A few minutes before and at the actual time of sunset. However if a person has not performed his Asr Salaah for that day he can perform it in this time.
