Question: What jewellery items are men allowed to wear?

Answer: It is not permissible for men to wear any type of jewellery accept a ring. The ring should be made from silver and have less than 4.374 grams of silver. {Raddul Muhtâr V6 P360 }

Forty Salaahs in Masjidun Nabawi

Question:  What is the status of performing forty Salahs  in Masjidun Nabawi (Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam)?

Answer: it is Sunnah to perform 40 Salahs in Masjidun Nabawi. (Fatawa  Mahmudiyya  vol.3 pg.186) The Messenger (Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam) said:

مَنْ صَلَّى فِي مَسْجِدِي أَرْبَعِينَ صَلاةً لا يَفُوتُهُ صَلاةٌ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ بَرَاءَةٌ مِنْ النَّارِ ، وَنَجَاةٌ مِنْ الْعَذَابِ ، وَبَرِئَ مِنْ النِّفَاقِ

(احمد، والطبراني، جمع الفوائد)

 “Whoever performs 40 salawât consecutively in my Masjid will be exempted from the fire, its punishments and from hypocrisy.” (Jam’ul Fawâid)

Duas For Qaumah and Jalsa

Question: What Duas should a person read in Qaumah and Jalsa?

Answer: Duas to be recited in Qaumah (the standing posture after Ruku before going into Sajda)

رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيْرًا طَيّبًا مُّبَارَكًا فِيْهِ
(Our Sustainer, for You is all praise in abundance, excellent and blessed) Bukhari V1 P110

Duas to be recited in Jalsa (the sitting posture between the two Sajdas)
اَللّهُمّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَارْحَمْنِيْ وَعَافِنِيْ وَاهْدِنِيْ وَارْزُقْنِيَ
( O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me peace, guide me and grant me sustenance) Abu Dawood V1 P123

These Duas should be recited in Fardh, Sunnah and Nafl Salaah.
