Answer: Ummul Mu'minin Sayyidah Aayesha RA. narrates that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam always carried the following five items, whether at home or travelling; a mirror, a Kuhl(antimony) container, a comb, hair-oil and a miswak. [Sirat Page 7 Page 545 - Ash Shama'il al-Kubra]

Sunnah Occasions For Ghusl

Question: When is it Sunnah to take a Ghusl?
Answer: It is Sunnah to take a Ghusl on the following occasions:
1. On a Friday.
2. On the day of Eid
3. For the person performing Hajj to take a Ghusl after Zawaal (mid-day)on the day of Aarafah (ninth of Dhul-Hijjah)
4 When donning the Ihraam for Hajj or Umrah.

Breaking An Oath

Question: What is the Kaffarah (penalty)for breaking an oath?
Answer: If a person breaks his oath, he will have to pay Kaffarah, which comprises of feeding 10 people two meals each.
Alternatively, he should clothe ten poor people, with clothing that is sufficient to conceal their bodies.
If he is unable to fulfil any of the above two, due a valid reason, he should fast for three consecutive days.

Method of Musafaha
DAILY FIQH
Question: How should one make musafaha (shake hands) when meeting people?
Answer: It is sunnah to make Musafahah using both hands. It has been narrated that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam made Musafahah with Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood RA while the palm of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood RA was between the two palms of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam.[Sahih al-Bukhari]
