Question: With the spread of the Caronavirus, people are being advised to use hand sanitizers frequently. Is it permissible to use a hand sanitizer that contains alcohol in it?
Answer: There are two types of alcohol. The first type is alcohol that is extracted from grapes or dates. It is Haram and impure.
The second type of alcohol is synthetic. Synthetic alcohol refers to alcohol formulated from chemical substances.
The alcohol used in hand sanitizers is synthetic. Therefore, it is permissible to use a hand sanitizer that has synthetic alcohol.

How To Hold The Miswaak

Question: What is the recommended way to hold the Miswaak?
Answer: It is Sunnah to hold the Miswaak in the right hand in such a way that your thumb and small finger are under the Miswaak, and your three remaining fingers will be on the upper-side.
في البحر والنهر والسنة في كيفية أخذه أن يجعل الخنصر أسفله والإبهام أسفل رأسه وباقي الأصابع فوقه كما رواه ابن مسعود (شامي 1/114)

When To Make Miswaak
Question: When making Wudhu, should Miswaak be made before or after gargling the mouth?
Answer: It is Sunnah to use the Miswaak after washing the hands and before gragling the mouth.
يسن في الوضو ثمانية عشر شيءً غسل اليدين إلى الرسغين والتسمية إبتداءً والسواك ولو بالإصبع عند فقده ( نور الايضاح ص ٢٠)

Which Shoes To Remove First
Question: When removing one’s shoes which shoe should one take off first?
Answer: When removing one’s shoes one should first remove the left shoe.
عن أبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قال النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم -: "إذا انتعل أحدكم فليبدأ باليمنى وإذا نزع فليبدأ بالشمال لتكن اليمنى أولهما تُنعل وآخرهما تُنزع"متفق عليه.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira Radiyallahu Anhu that Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “ When you wear your shoes, wear the right one first and when removing your shoes, remove the left one first, so that the right one, is is first to be worn and last to be removed.” [Bukhari & Muslim]
