Return An Item With Defect
Question: A customer returned an item that got damaged while in his possession. Is the retailer obliged to take the item back. Furthermore, if the retailer does take it back can he deduct an amount for the damage?
Answer: The retailer is not obliged to take the item back. A cancellation of a sale will take place with mutual agreement.
If the retail does cancel the sale, it will be permissible to deduct from the price an amount equal to the value of damages.

Prerequisite of Salaah
Question: What are the prerequisites for the validity of Salaah?
Answer: These are 6 Pre-Conditions of Salah:
1) Purity - The body, clothes and place of Salah must be pure from all types of impurities.
2) Covering The Body - A Male must cover from the navel to below the knees. A females is required to cover her whole body except the face, hands and feet.
3) Qiblah - Facing towards the Qiblah during Salaah.
4) Time - It is necessary to offer Salah within its stipulated time.
5) Niyyat - Having a clear intention in the heart.
6) Tahrimah - Starting Salah by uttering (اَللهُ اَكْبَر)

Question: What does the Ahadith say about eating seven Ajwa dates?
Answer: The Ajwa dates of Madinah Munawwarah have been blessed with special benefits:
1. “He who has a morning meal of seven ‘ajwa dates will not suffer harm that day through poison or magic.” (Bukhari, Hadith 5327 and Muslim, Hadith 3814)
2. ‘Aisha reported Allah’s Messenger as saying, “The ‘ajwah dates of al-‘Aliya contain healing, and they are an antidote (when taken as) first thing in the morning.” (Muslim, Hadith 3815)

Answer: The practice of reciting Kalimah Tayyiba 70 000 times and making Ithalus Thawaab to the Deceased is based on a Da’eef Hadith and is supported by the practice of the pious Ulama. One cannot say that it is a Sunnah practice, however, it is something beneficial that may be encouraged as there are tremendous benefits attached to the Kalimah Tayyiba.
