Question: Upon whom is Hajj obligatory?

Answer: If a sane adult has wealth, over and above his basic necessities which is sufficient for him to undertake the journey for Hajj, then Hajj will become Fard (obligatory) up him, provided that he has the physical strength to bear the hardships of travelling to the sacred House of Allah.

Furthermore, a lady is required to be accompanied by her husband or some other Mahram.

If a person meets the above requirements then he/she you should endevour to go hajj immediately, by entering into the Hajj accreditation process.
